Why is my business process execution history missing or incomplete?
If a business process execution does not appear in Run History, or if its details appear incomplete, first confirm that you are viewing the correct process and that the latest information has been retrieved.
A missing history entry does not automatically mean that an execution never started.
How to investigate:
1. Open Business Processes in your Polyosync dashboard.
2. Locate the relevant process.
3. Open Run History.
4. Use Refresh to retrieve updated information.
5. Verify that you are reviewing the correct workspace.
6. Check whether the original execution request displayed an error.
7. Review any available execution records around the expected time.
Why might an execution be missing?
Possible explanations include reviewing the wrong process, an unsuccessful execution request, an interface loading problem, or a delay or failure in retrieving recorded information.
The exact cause requires investigation.
What if I can see the execution but not all expected details?
Open the available Execution Details and review the recorded status, result, events, and errors.
The amount of information available depends on what was recorded for that execution.
Does every execution include identical diagnostic information?
No.
Different operations and failure conditions may produce different records.
Some executions may contain more diagnostic information than others.
Should I create another execution just to test whether history works?
Avoid doing so if the process can affect customers, external systems, or important business information.
First determine whether the original operation was accepted.
What information should I provide to Support?
Include the process name, approximate execution time, affected workspace, expected behavior, and any visible errors.
If you have an execution identifier, include it where appropriate.
Polyosync's Support Center can help investigate missing execution information when the available interface does not provide enough detail.
