Why is my AI Employee not responding or taking longer than expected?

An AI Employee may occasionally take longer than expected to respond or may fail to complete a request. The cause can vary depending on the complexity of the task, the AI Employee's configuration, external integrations, and the services involved in processing the request. Possible causes 1. The request requires multiple processing steps. 2. The AI Employee is waiting for an external service. 3. A connected integration is unavailable or responding slowly. 4. The requested operation is restricted by the employee's permissions. 5. The AI service provider encounters a temporary error. 6. The operation fails during execution. 7. The browser loses connectivity while waiting for a response. What should I check? 1. Confirm that the AI Employee is available in the intended workspace. 2. Review the request. Complex requests involving several tools, external systems, or dependent actions may require more processing than a simple conversation. 3. Check the relevant history. Where execution or conversation history is available, review the latest result, status, or error information. 4. Verify integration dependencies. If the request requires CRM data, another application, or an external API, check whether the relevant integration is connected and authorized. 5. Review permissions. An AI Employee should only perform operations allowed by its configuration and available access. 6. Try a simpler request. A short, clearly defined request can help determine whether the issue affects all interactions or only a particular operation. Should I submit the same request repeatedly? Not if the request could modify business data, send messages, create records, or trigger other external actions. First verify whether the original operation completed. Repeated submissions may cause duplicate or unintended actions. What if only one AI Employee is affected? Compare its configuration, integrations, and task requirements with those of other functioning employees in the same workspace. When to contact Support Provide the affected AI Employee, approximate time, request type, observed behavior, and relevant execution reference. Do not include credentials or unnecessary customer information in your support request. Polyosync uses external AI providers as part of its processing infrastructure, so certain failures may require investigation across both platform and provider dependencies.
