How can I tell whether a business process completed successfully?

You can review the recorded execution status and results of a business process in Polyosync to determine whether its run completed successfully. A successful execution is an important indicator of operational progress, but it should be evaluated alongside the actual business outcome. How do I verify a completed execution? 1. Open your Polyosync dashboard. 2. Navigate to Business Processes. 3. Find the relevant process. 4. Open its Run History. 5. Select the execution you want to verify. 6. Review the recorded status, results, events, and any available error information. If the execution is recorded as successfully completed, the platform has reported a successful execution outcome. However, you should also review the generated results to determine whether they satisfy the original business requirements. What is the difference between execution success and business success? Execution success refers to the outcome recorded by the platform. Business success refers to whether the operation achieved its intended real-world objective. For example, a process may successfully prepare a customer follow-up document, but the business objective may also require an employee to review it or a customer to respond. The successful generation of the document does not automatically mean the customer relationship objective has been achieved. What if the status indicates a problem? Review the execution events and available error details. Depending on the process, issues may involve missing information, unavailable integrations, permissions, or processing errors. Can I compare the outcome with previous executions? Execution history allows users to review previous runs of a process. This can help identify recurring problems or changes in recorded results. Polyosync helps businesses distinguish between an operation being executed and its broader business outcome, supporting more responsible use of AI-powered business processes.
