Who can access reports and analytics in a Polyosync workspace?

Reports and analytics may contain sensitive information about business operations, customers, employees, financial performance, and internal processes. Access should therefore reflect the user's responsibilities and the permissions associated with the relevant workspace. Polyosync supports role-based access structures for business users. The availability of particular reports and operational records depends on the module, account configuration, and implemented permission controls. Does every employee have access to the same information? Not necessarily. Different roles may have different responsibilities and access permissions. Businesses should verify which operational information is available to each user. What should administrators review? Administrators should consider: 1. Which employees require access to operational reports. 2. Whether the information includes sensitive business data. 3. Which modules the employee is authorized to use. 4. Whether the employee requires detailed execution records or only summary information. 5. Whether the information belongs to the correct workspace. 6. Whether access remains appropriate when responsibilities change. Can a user access another company's reports? Business information should remain subject to the relevant workspace boundaries and authorization controls. Users should not expect access to reports or operational records belonging to unrelated businesses. Can report access differ from execution history access? Yes. A reporting interface and the underlying operational module may have different access requirements. The exact behavior depends on the implemented permission model. What if I cannot access a report? Verify that you are signed in to the correct account and workspace. Check whether the relevant reporting capability is available. If the information should be accessible to your role, ask your workspace administrator to review your permissions. Can reports contain personal information? Depending on the source data, operational records may include information associated with customers or employees. Businesses should handle such information according to their legal obligations and internal data protection policies. Should reports be shared externally? External sharing should only occur when authorized and appropriate. Before sharing operational information, verify the recipient, the business purpose, and whether the report contains confidential or personal data. What if an employee changes roles? Review their access to relevant modules and operational information. Permissions should reflect current responsibilities rather than historical assignments. What is the recommended practice? Apply the principle of least privilege. Give users access to the information necessary for their responsibilities without unnecessarily exposing sensitive operational data. Reporting should support business transparency while maintaining appropriate access controls.
