What is the difference between AI Employees, AI Workforce, and AI Collaboration in the dashboard?
Polyosync separates AI Employees, AI Workforce, and AI Collaboration into different dashboard areas because they serve different operational purposes.
AI Employees is where you access and manage individual AI agents configured for business responsibilities.
An AI Employee can be designed to support a specific function, such as answering customer enquiries, assisting with sales communication, or handling supported operational tasks.
AI Workforce focuses on the broader organization and operation of AI Employees within your business.
Rather than considering each AI agent as an isolated assistant, the AI Workforce concept allows businesses to organize AI capabilities around their operational requirements.
AI Collaboration focuses on cooperation between AI Employees.
Depending on the configured collaboration mechanism, one AI Employee may request assistance from another AI Employee with relevant capabilities, or multiple AI Employees may participate in a coordinated execution.
Polyosync supports collaboration concepts such as delegation, task dependencies, coordination, and shared results.
For example, a customer-facing AI Employee may encounter a request that requires expertise from another configured AI Employee. In a supported collaboration workflow, the relevant work can be delegated and its result used to continue the original task.
These dashboard areas are related, but they are not interchangeable.
AI Employees concerns individual agents, AI Workforce concerns the broader workforce, and AI Collaboration concerns how those agents work together.
Availability and execution capabilities depend on your subscription and workspace configuration.
