How do AI Employees communicate and delegate tasks to each other?
Polyosync supports AI-to-AI collaboration in which one configured AI Employee can request assistance from another AI Employee during a supported business activity.
This allows businesses to organize AI agents around different responsibilities while enabling cooperation between them.
How does delegation begin?
An AI Employee starts with a task or objective.
During its work, it may determine that completing part of the activity requires knowledge, expertise, or capabilities associated with another AI Employee.
Where Dynamic Collaboration is enabled and the required conditions are met, it can initiate a request to an appropriate AI Employee.
What happens when another AI Employee receives a request?
The receiving AI Employee handles the delegated request within its own configured role and available capabilities.
It produces a result for the requesting AI Employee.
The requesting AI Employee can then use that result as part of its continuing work.
Does the original AI Employee lose responsibility for the task?
No. Delegation does not necessarily transfer the entire original objective.
For example, an Operations AI Employee may remain responsible for preparing an operational recommendation while asking a Finance AI Employee to contribute a financial assessment.
The Finance AI Employee contributes its result, and the Operations AI Employee continues its original task.
Can AI Employees have different areas of expertise?
Yes.
Businesses can configure AI Employees around different responsibilities, such as customer support, operations, sales, administration, or finance.
These responsibilities help establish what each AI Employee is intended to handle.
Actual expertise depends on the configured instructions, knowledge, available tools, and relevant access permissions.
Can an AI Employee access everything another AI Employee knows?
No such assumption should be made.
AI Employees operate within configured boundaries and access controls.
A collaboration request does not automatically grant unrestricted access to another employee's information, business systems, or permissions.
Why is this useful?
Many business activities involve more than one function.
A customer request may involve sales and operations.
An internal assessment may require operational and financial input.
A business process may need information from different specialized AI Employees.
Dynamic Collaboration helps Polyosync support these cross-functional activities without requiring a person to manually coordinate every exchange between AI agents.
It is a practical step beyond standalone AI assistants: AI Employees can contribute to shared business work while retaining their configured responsibilities.
