How can I evaluate the performance of AI Employees in Polyosync?

Evaluating an AI Employee requires more than counting conversations or completed activities. Businesses should determine whether the AI Employee is performing its assigned responsibilities accurately, reliably, and in accordance with the organization's requirements. Polyosync supports AI Employees as part of its AI Workforce platform. The exact performance information available depends on the relevant employee configuration, activity records, and supported reporting capabilities. Step 1: Define the AI Employee's responsibilities Identify the purpose of the AI Employee. For example, an AI Employee may be responsible for answering questions, supporting internal operations, processing requests, or participating in collaborative workflows. Different responsibilities require different evaluation criteria. Step 2: Identify expected outcomes Define what successful performance means for that role. Examples include: 1. Providing accurate information. 2. Completing assigned tasks correctly. 3. Following configured operational boundaries. 4. Using the appropriate business context. 5. Escalating situations that require human intervention. 6. Producing useful results for downstream activities. Step 3: Review available activity records Use the available AI Workforce information to examine relevant interactions and outcomes. Where the AI Employee participates in collaborations or workflows, review the associated execution information when available. Step 4: Evaluate quality rather than activity alone A high number of interactions does not necessarily indicate strong performance. Review whether the AI Employee's responses and actions were appropriate for the underlying business requirements. Step 5: Identify recurring problems Look for repeated misunderstandings, incomplete tasks, inappropriate escalations, or outcomes that require manual correction. Determine whether these problems are caused by instructions, available context, integrations, or workflow design. Step 6: Review human intervention requirements Human Handoff may be necessary when an activity requires judgment, authorization, or information that the AI Employee cannot provide. Review whether handoffs occur appropriately. Step 7: Compare performance over time Where sufficient data is available, compare similar periods and workloads. Avoid drawing conclusions from small samples or unrelated operating conditions. Step 8: Improve the configuration Use the findings to review instructions, responsibilities, knowledge sources, or relevant workflows. Test changes before relying on them for consequential operations. Can I measure financial impact? Financial impact requires reliable cost and business outcome data. Conversation volume alone does not establish revenue generation or cost savings. Businesses should use verifiable assumptions and records when calculating financial results. What is the most important principle? Evaluate AI Employees according to the business responsibilities they perform. An AI Employee should be judged by the reliability and usefulness of its outcomes, not simply by the number of activities it generates.
