Why is my business timezone important in Polyosync?

Your business timezone helps Polyosync interpret local times correctly for supported booking operations. Businesses operating in different countries or regions may have different local times, even when their teams or customers communicate through the same online platform. Polyosync uses your configured business location to resolve an IANA timezone. This provides a regional timezone identifier rather than relying only on a fixed UTC offset. An important benefit is the handling of daylight-saving changes. For example, a business in the United Kingdom may switch between Greenwich Mean Time and British Summer Time during the year. Using the appropriate regional timezone helps booking operations account for those changes. To review your timezone, open Settings and locate Business location & timezone. The currently resolved timezone appears in that section. If your business relocates, update its location details and save them again so the timezone can be recalculated. Accurate timezone configuration is particularly important when customers make bookings or when your business serves people across multiple timezones.
