Why can't I start a Collaboration Orchestration run?

Polyosync requires a Collaboration Orchestration definition to be active before it can be executed. If you cannot start a run, the collaboration may still be in draft status, may not be available in your business workspace, or may contain a configuration that prevents successful execution. What should I check? First, verify that the collaboration exists in the correct business workspace. Then check its status. A collaboration saved as a draft is not eligible for execution until it has been activated. What if the collaboration is already active? Review the participating AI Employees. Polyosync requires orchestration participants to be active internal AI Employees associated with the relevant business workspace when the collaboration is configured. The coordinator must also be included among the participating employees. Every assigned task must reference a participating employee. What about task dependencies? Polyosync validates dependencies when saving a collaboration definition. Task identifiers must be unique, referenced dependencies must exist, and circular dependencies are not permitted. A task also cannot depend on itself. These checks help prevent invalid task structures. Can an inactive AI Employee cause a problem? Yes. An orchestration may be unable to execute an assigned task if its required AI Employee is no longer available or active. What if the run starts but fails afterward? Starting a run and completing a run are different outcomes. A run may start successfully and later fail because an assigned task encounters an execution problem. Review the orchestration execution history to identify the affected task and available error information. What should I do if I still cannot run it? Check the collaboration status, participating employees, task assignments, and dependency configuration. If the problem continues, contact Polyosync Support with the relevant collaboration details and visible error message. Why does Polyosync validate these configurations? Multi-agent business automation requires more than connecting several AI assistants. Polyosync uses structured collaboration definitions to help businesses coordinate responsibilities, task dependencies, and execution within their AI Workforce.
