Who can access administrative and security settings in Polyosync Enterprise?

Administrative and security-related operations should be available only to appropriately authorized users. Polyosync Enterprise includes several role options, including Admin, Security Admin, and AI Admin. These roles help organizations distinguish responsibilities, but the exact permissions associated with each role depend on the implemented authorization rules. What are administrative operations? Depending on the available features, administrative operations may involve: 1. Managing organization or workspace settings. 2. Inviting or managing employees. 3. Assigning roles. 4. Configuring AI-related resources. 5. Reviewing integration settings. 6. Managing operational configurations. 7. Accessing security-related information. 8. Reviewing available administrative records. Not every administrative role necessarily has access to every operation. What is the difference between Admin and Security Admin? The role names indicate different areas of responsibility. However, their actual capabilities must be determined by the platform's permission rules. Do not assume that the names alone define a complete permission matrix. What about AI Admin? AI Admin is an Enterprise role option associated with AI administration responsibilities. Its exact access depends on the implemented role configuration. Should every manager receive administrative access? No. Management responsibilities do not automatically require elevated technical permissions. Roles should be assigned according to operational needs. Can an administrator access unrelated customer organizations? An administrative role within one organization should not be treated as authorization to access unrelated customers' environments. Organization and workspace boundaries remain relevant. How should privileged access be reviewed? 1. Identify all users with elevated roles. 2. Confirm their current responsibilities. 3. Review whether elevated access is necessary. 4. Remove unnecessary privileges. 5. Review access after personnel changes. 6. Investigate unexpected administrative actions. 7. Follow the organization's security policies. What if an administrative action is denied? The user's current role may not authorize the operation. Contact an appropriately authorized administrator rather than attempting to bypass the restriction. Recommended practice Limit privileged access, separate responsibilities where appropriate, and regularly review administrative role assignments.
