How should external integrations be configured for Enterprise business operations?

External integrations allow Polyosync to interact with supported business applications and services. For Enterprise organizations, integration configuration should reflect the business processes being supported and the permissions required for those operations. A connected service should not be treated as unrestricted access to all information or actions available in the external system. What should be considered before connecting an integration? 1. The business purpose of the connection. 2. The external application involved. 3. The data required. 4. The actions that need to be performed. 5. The permissions requested by the provider. 6. The relevant workspace. 7. The AI Employees or workflows that may use the connection. 8. Security and governance requirements. 9. Error handling and operational monitoring. 10. Responsibility for maintaining the connection. How should integrations be configured? Step 1: Identify the required business capability. Step 2: Confirm that the external service is supported. Step 3: Review the available connection method. Step 4: Obtain authorization from the appropriate external account administrator. Step 5: Connect the service through the supported Polyosync interface. Step 6: Review the permissions granted. Step 7: Confirm the intended operational scope. Step 8: Test representative supported actions. Step 9: Review the results. Step 10: Monitor the integration for authorization or connectivity problems. Can different Enterprise workspaces use different integrations? Integration arrangements should be configured according to the relevant workspace and organization capabilities. Administrators should verify the actual connection scope and access boundaries. Can an integration be shared between workspaces? This depends on the implemented integration functionality and the external provider's authorization model. Do not assume that connecting a service in one workspace automatically makes it available in another. Can AI Employees use connected integrations? Yes, where the relevant integration operations are supported and the AI Employee is appropriately configured and authorized. What happens if an external provider revokes access? Operations depending on the connection may fail. The connection should be reviewed and reauthorized through the supported process where appropriate. Does Polyosync control the external provider's permissions? External services maintain their own authorization mechanisms. Polyosync must operate within the permissions and capabilities provided by the relevant integration. Recommended approach Configure integrations according to actual business requirements, minimize unnecessary access, and regularly review connection health and authorization.
