How do I start an Autonomous Workflow in Polyosync?

Starting an Autonomous Workflow in Polyosync involves selecting an active AI Workforce, defining a business objective, and configuring the execution limits. To start: 1. Open Autonomous Workflows in your Polyosync dashboard. 2. Select an active AI Workforce. 3. Enter a clear objective describing the outcome you want to achieve. 4. Configure the maximum number of iterations. 5. Set the maximum total number of tasks. 6. Configure the AI execution cost budget. 7. Select Start autonomous workflow. The platform will initiate the workflow and use its orchestration capabilities to coordinate the work. What makes a good objective? A useful objective describes a specific business outcome rather than a vague instruction. For example: "Investigate the current sales pipeline, identify opportunities requiring follow-up, and prepare a prioritized assessment of recommended next actions." This gives the AI Workforce a clearer target than simply asking it to improve sales. Do I need to define every task? No. The orchestrator can determine tasks during execution based on the objective and available context. However, clear requirements and expected deliverables help the platform evaluate whether the objective has been fulfilled. Can I control execution limits? Yes. The interface supports configurable iteration limits, total task limits, and an AI cost budget. These controls help keep execution bounded. Does starting a workflow guarantee completion? No. Completion depends on the objective, available AI Employees, accessible information, supported capabilities, approvals, and execution limits. You can review the execution history to understand what happened and whether the objective was completed.
