How are users, administrators, and permissions managed in an Enterprise Organization?

Polyosync Enterprise provides role-based access arrangements for businesses that need to manage multiple users with different operational responsibilities. The objective is to allow employees to work within their authorized environments without granting every user unrestricted administrative access. Enterprise user roles The Enterprise team management interface supports the following role options: 1. Member. 2. Manager. 3. AI Admin. 4. Security Admin. 5. Admin. 6. Viewer. These roles represent different administrative or operational responsibilities. The precise actions available to each role depend on the platform's permission enforcement and the organization's configuration. Why are separate roles important? Different employees require different levels of access. For example, a person responsible for reviewing information may not require the same privileges as someone responsible for managing AI workforce configuration. Similarly, security-related administration should be distinguishable from ordinary operational responsibilities. How are team members invited? Authorized users can manage team invitations through the relevant workspace settings. The invitation process supports information such as: 1. Email address. 2. Name. 3. Department. 4. Assigned role. The platform uses this information when creating the team invitation. Does an invitation automatically grant unrestricted access? No. Users should operate within their assigned permissions and the applicable workspace boundaries. Can a company assign different responsibilities to different employees? Yes. The Enterprise role structure is designed to distinguish different types of responsibility. Administrators should select roles according to the access required for each person's work. Are permissions the same as AI employee permissions? Not necessarily. Human user permissions and the authorization of AI-driven operations are related security considerations, but they should not be treated as interchangeable. An AI employee's ability to perform an action must also be governed by the applicable platform configuration and authorization controls. Can users from one department automatically access another department's information? Access should not be assumed merely because both departments belong to the same Enterprise Organization. The applicable workspace membership and permissions determine authorized access. Recommended practices 1. Assign roles according to actual job responsibilities. 2. Avoid granting administrative access unnecessarily. 3. Review access when employees change responsibilities. 4. Remove or update access when personnel leave the organization. 5. Separate sensitive operational responsibilities where appropriate. 6. Review permissions before enabling access to important integrations or business operations. 7. Ensure that organization administrators understand the consequences of permission changes. Summary Enterprise role-based access allows organizations to distribute responsibilities while maintaining administrative control over users and operational environments.
