Does Polyosync save conversation history with AI Employees?

Polyosync includes conversation history functionality for supported AI Employee interactions. Conversation history allows businesses to maintain records of previous interactions rather than relying exclusively on the current conversation. This is useful when AI Employees support recurring tasks, internal operations, or customer communications. Why is conversation history important? Business conversations frequently contain information that remains relevant after the immediate interaction ends. For example, an employee may discuss an operational issue with an Internal AI Employee and later need to review the explanation or result. A business may also need to understand what information was exchanged during a previous AI-supported activity. Conversation history helps provide a record of supported interactions. What can conversation history be used for? Businesses can use available conversation records to review previous discussions, understand the context of an interaction, and investigate questions about an AI Employee's responses. This can support operational transparency and more informed follow-up. Is conversation history the same as persistent memory? No. Conversation history records interactions. Persistent memory is designed to retain selected information that may remain useful across supported interactions. An AI Employee having access to conversation history does not necessarily mean that every previous message becomes part of its persistent memory. Does saving a conversation mean an AI Employee will remember everything? No. The existence of a saved conversation does not guarantee that every previous message will be included in future AI processing. Continuity depends on the conversation context, relevant retrieval mechanisms, memory functionality, and supported implementation. Can conversation history help with quality control? Yes. Reviewing available records can help businesses identify inaccurate responses, unclear instructions, recurring questions, or areas where an AI Employee needs better configuration. For example, if an AI Employee repeatedly misunderstands a particular service, the business may need to improve its knowledge or instructions. Does conversation history provide a complete audit trail of every action? Not necessarily. Conversation history and operational execution history serve different purposes. A conversation record documents an interaction, while execution records may contain information about supported workflows, processes, automations, or other actions. Polyosync includes separate operational history capabilities for relevant modules. Together, these capabilities can help businesses understand both conversations and supported AI-driven activities.
