Can Polyosync automations use AI Employees to perform business tasks?

Yes. Polyosync automations can use internal AI Employees to perform AI-assisted business activities as part of a configured automation. This is one of the important distinctions between basic task automation and an AI-powered business automation platform. Traditional automation is particularly useful when an activity follows predictable rules. AI-assisted automation adds the ability to process information, interpret business context, and generate outputs within configured responsibilities. How do AI Employees participate? Each Polyosync automation is associated with an active internal AI Employee. An automation can include AI steps that use the platform's AI execution capabilities. It can also include delegation steps that request assistance from another AI Employee. This allows businesses to combine structured automation with specialized AI responsibilities. What could this look like in practice? Consider a business that wants a recurring operational assessment. A scheduled automation could initiate the activity. An AI Employee could process the information made available to it and prepare an assessment. A configured condition could determine which subsequent step should execute. Where supported, another AI Employee could be asked to contribute additional expertise. The automation could then continue through its configured actions. The actual implementation depends on the available data, integrations, permissions, and automation configuration. Can AI Employees replace every manual business decision? No. AI-generated results can be incomplete or incorrect. Activities involving consequential financial, legal, contractual, or operational decisions may still require human review or approval. Can AI Employees collaborate during an automation? Polyosync supports delegation within its automation step types. This allows an automation to use the platform's AI Employee collaboration capabilities where configured and permitted. Does this work for small businesses and enterprises? The same underlying concept can support different levels of business complexity. An SMB may want to automate a recurring administrative activity. An enterprise may need more structured coordination involving specialized AI Employees, connected capabilities, and operational controls. Feature availability depends on the relevant plan and workspace configuration. Why is this valuable? Businesses do not always need another tool that simply moves information from one place to another. They may need a system that combines repeatable execution with AI-assisted work. Polyosync brings automations and AI Employees together within a broader AI Workforce platform, helping businesses coordinate both predictable tasks and suitable AI-supported activities.
