Can Polyosync AI agents collaborate autonomously without a human coordinating every step?

Yes. Polyosync supports Dynamic AI Collaboration, which allows appropriately configured AI Employees to request assistance from other AI Employees during supported tasks. This means a human does not necessarily need to coordinate every exchange between AI agents. How does autonomous collaboration work? A configured AI Employee begins working on an objective. If it identifies a need for assistance from another specialized AI Employee, it can initiate a supported collaboration request. The receiving AI Employee processes the delegated work and returns a result. The original AI Employee can then continue its task using the information received. For example, a business may configure separate AI Employees for sales and operations. A Sales AI Employee working on a customer requirement may need operational input before completing its assessment. Dynamic Collaboration can support a request to an Operations AI Employee, allowing the Sales AI Employee to continue with the returned information. Does this require a person to copy information between AI agents? Not for every supported collaboration exchange. The purpose of Dynamic Collaboration is to allow AI Employees to exchange delegated work and results through the platform. This reduces the need for a person to act as the intermediary between separate AI assistants. Does autonomous mean unsupervised? No. Autonomous collaboration does not mean unrestricted access or unlimited decision-making authority. AI Employees remain subject to their configured responsibilities, permissions, and the capabilities available to them. Businesses should establish appropriate oversight for important activities and decisions. Can AI Employees make business decisions on their own? AI Employees may perform supported tasks and contribute recommendations or results within their configuration. However, the degree of permitted autonomy depends on the business process, available actions, permissions, and applicable human approval requirements. Companies should not assume that enabling collaboration authorizes every AI Employee to make binding financial, legal, or operational decisions. Why is autonomous multi-agent collaboration useful? Business activities frequently involve several areas of expertise. Allowing AI Employees to request assistance from one another can reduce manual coordination and help work progress across specialized responsibilities. Polyosync brings these capabilities into an AI workforce environment that also supports operational history, automation, and business process management. The objective is not simply to make AI agents communicate. It is to help businesses organize AI-supported work across multiple responsibilities.
